Get ready, it's field trip time! This month our class is going to Renfrew. Renfrew is one of my favorite trips! We will be studying trees and the how people used to sheer sheep, and create fabrics from wool. In the classroom, we are learning about the moon, clouds, and types of weather. Remember that our moon calendars are due at the end of September! We also are focusing on the foundations of grammar such as nouns, verbs, and adjectives. We have discussed what it means to be a close reader, and are venturing into character traits and inferences! In math, students are learning strategies to complete math word problems and are reviewing key concepts such as time and rounding. Please visit my webpage again next month, for the monthly update!
