We are learning about habitats, environment and adaptations. Ask your child about types of habitats, what living things are in that habitat, and adaptations those living things have in order to survive.
Take a walk at Renfrew and discuss what is living and non-living in that habitat.
In my class, we will take tests using the book and/or study guide. We read the material and answer the questions on the study guide. The answers are given and written so that the children will have the correct answer. All the answers that are needed for the test are discussed and given to the children.
If you would like to review the test answers with your child, in the textbook, Exploring Pennsylvania, please use the link section view the book. It is titled Exploring PA.
The classes just completed the Native American chapters. Your child should be bringing the test home this week.
We are learning about William Penn and the colony of Pennsylvania. This is found in Ch. 5. Ask your child about William Penn. There are many interesting facts about him.
Your child should be working on Study Island for math, ELA, and science. Do not allow them to complete Blue Ribbons until assigned to them. I have a link to Study Island on the links page.
Your child needs to know his/her multiplication math facts. Multiplication Baseball is a great way for them to study. I have a link to Multiplication Baseball on the links page.
